FHE lesson:

Being Spiritually Prepared for a Crisis

30 June 2020

*Sarah Endline:
When you're a leader you get to create a company culture that is right for you.

A New Breed of Entrepreneur
*"I will never be able to be pessimistic again having seen the worst disease (smallpox) in history eradicated.
The same level of effort to come together to eradicate a disease needs to be put towards education, bridging the gap between the rich and the poor, creating new jobs in Africa, etc.

Make it Personal & Make it Work
* It was not obvious that computing power would be something that individuals have.

SUMMARY
First, some people like my husband need a flexible, individualized company culture and I want to be the one that creates a welcoming, individualized, learning work environment for people that struggle like my husband. Second, I want to somehow help the world work together to achieve important goals like better education and new jobs in Africa. Lastly, I love that the cure to poverty is so simple...pay your tithing!
I think constant reflection on this weeks learning will help me remember and increase my desire to be a change-maker. If I am unable to apply what I've learned to my professional life, I want to apply it to my family as well as my community by teaching kids how to become change makers in some type of sport. I will also continue to pay my tithing diligently and be generous in my fast and service options.
